Conservative Outsider, Kathleen Anderson Is Running for Congress in Utah’s Fourth Congressional District

June 28, 2019

Salt Lake City, UTAH – Conservative outsider, Kathleen Anderson, announced today that she is entering the race for Utah’s 4th Congressional District. Kathleen has never held political office. She is running to give voice to Utah’s values that are going unheard in Washington.

“For the past 34 years, I’ve been blessed to call Utah home. It’s been evident to me that Utahns are committed to the principles of faith, family, and hard work,” said Anderson. “Lately, however, I’ve noticed increasing concern with the direction of politics in Washington, and how Utah’s traditional values and voices are being ignored by Representative Ben McAdams.”

Anderson added, “I’m not a career politician. In fact, I’ve never run for office before. This district, and our Country, doesn’t need another politician in Washington. What is needed is a fighter who is not afraid to stand up for what is right. I’m running for office because I believe that with the right people in office, we can make Washington a little more like Utah.”

“The support I have been shown already by my friends, family, and volunteers in this district has been overwhelming,” stated Anderson. “I am going to work tirelessly until election day to ensure we send a conservative voice back to Washington to represent us.”

About Kathleen Anderson:

Kathleen learned about the value of hard-work from an early age. She and her three siblings grew up helping their parents on the family’s farm. Kathleen’s deep faith drew her to enroll at Brigham Young University.

After graduating from BYU, Kathleen worked in the insurance industry for nearly a decade before deciding to leave the private sector in order to focus on raising her growing family. A mother of 4, she maintained her active involvement in the community through participating in both her local and Utah PTA, as well as by being an engaged member of local GOP committees and the Utah Republican Party. Kathleen and her husband Rob, an Air Force veteran, love calling Utah home.
