Meet Kathleen

Kathleen Anderson is Righting America by stepping-up to run for Congress because she believes Utah’s 4th District deserves to be represented by those who share Utah’s values.
Kathleen learned about the value of hard-work from an early age. She and her three siblings grew up helping their parents on the family’s farm. Upon graduating high school, Kathleen’s deep faith drew her to enroll at Brigham Young University.
After graduating from BYU, Kathleen worked in the insurance industry for nearly a decade before deciding to leave the private sector in order to focus on raising her growing family. A mother of 4, she maintained her active involvement in the community through participating in both her local and Utah PTA, as well as by being an engaged member of local GOP committees and the Utah Republican Party.

Kathleen knows that now more than ever, we need leaders who aren’t afraid to stand up for what is right. She believes in good, responsible governance and knows that the key to inspiring others to stand up and be involved is to show them that it can be done – even while balancing work and a family.
Kathleen and her husband Rob, a 25-year veteran of the Air Force, love calling Utah home.
